On behalf of AgResearch and CSIRO, I am pleased to invite prospective delegates to the 5th 'Horizons in Livestock Sciences' Conference. The Conference will provide a forum for eminent international speakers, Australian and New Zealand research and industry leaders and other participants to explore this year's theme: The future of agriculture - value or volume? The conference follows the success of the previous Horizons conferences in Australia, details of which are available on this website.
The 2008 conference will explore the following topics:
- The drivers of change - demands and constraints
- Cutting edge science for future animal agriculture
- Industry transformation using case studies to examine response from the dairy, meat and fibre sectors.
